Do the projects need to be approved?

Yes. Approval on projects is very much important and it could be one of many like EC, Fire Safety, Town Planning and PMC approvals or even all of them, depending upon the locality and amenities being offered.

What is Environmental Clearance?

The city has few rules and regulations in place, to make sure that there is no disturbance in the area’s ecology because of constructions. These rules are enforced to avoid certain environment related calamities, for example, flood-like situations occurring due to ignorance towards water paths and natural landscape. Or, things like, amount of greenery around the construction to ensure good and safe sustenance of life in the city. These and other such parameters are classified and covered under environmental clearance.

All projects above FSI of 2,00,000 sq.ft need to obtain an Environmental clearance. The main purpose is to assess impact of the planned project on the environment and people and to try to abate/minimise the same.

What happens if not delivered on promised possession date?

Usually this never happens, but still in case, we face such a circumstance where delivery date deviates from the promised possession date regarding any of our ongoing residential projects in Pune, we take full responsibility of paying the bank interest.
